* BARON COHEN WINS TEACHER LAWSUIT British comedian SACHA BARON COHEN has won a lawsuit filed against him by a woman who unwittingly appeared in his hit movie BORAT: CULTURAL LEARNINGS OF AMERICA FOR MAKE BENEFIT GLORIOUS NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN. Etiquette teacher Kathie Martin attempted to sue Cohen, Twentieth Century, One America Productions Inc., Everyman Pictures, Dune Entertainment, MTV Networks, Comedy Central, Dakota North Entertainment Inc. and Four by Two Production Co., claiming she was embarrassed and humiliated by her appearance in the movie. The court was told how Martin featured in the movie presenting guests at a dinner party with a bag of human faeces after giving etiquette lessons to Cohen's character Borat. But Alabama Supreme Court ruled Martin cannot sue Cohen and the companies that produced the movie in the state because she signed an agreement stating only courts in New York could hear any disputes that arose from her appearance. * T.I. ARRESTED AFTER UNDERCOVER MACHINE GUN DEAL Rapper T.I. has been arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, after attempting to purchase an arsenal of weapons from an undercover police officer. The Bring 'Em Out star - real name Clifford Harris, Jr. - was taken into custody on Saturday (13Oct07) after he sent his bodyguard to buy three machine guns and two silencers from the cop, posing as an arms dealer. The unnamed bodyguard was acting as a co-operating witness to the agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), when he was instructed by Harris to make the cash deal for the guns, worth $21,000 (£10,500). The employee claims he has purchased a total of nine guns for the rapper himself and a further 17 firearms for others on the star's behalf since he was hired in July (07). A police raid of Harris' home in College Park turned up another three machine guns and six other firearms hidden in a closet. The 27-year-old has been charged with felony possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers and possession of firearms by a convicted felon. Vanessa McLemore, Special Agent in Charge of ATF's Atlanta Division, tells AllHipHop.com, "This investigation developed very quickly. We learned only this Wednesday that the co-operating witness was allegedly buying the machine guns for Harris. The co-operating witness told Harris on Thursday that he had obtained the items, and on Friday Harris made it clear that he wanted them delivered to him today. "Harris then agreed to meet and took possession of the machine guns this afternoon. He now faces serious federal charges and a potentially long prison sentence." The arrest took place hours before T.I. was due to attend the B.E.T. Hip-Hop Awards, where he was scheduled to perform. The rapper - who has previous convictions for drug dealing, gun possession and probation violations - will be held in federal custody until Monday (15Oct07), when he will appear before U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan J. Baverman at the United States Courthouse in his hometown of Atlanta. * HUDGENS CONSIDERS POSING FOR MEN'S MAGAZINE Disgraced teen star VANESSA HUDGENS is considering cashing in on her nude photo scandal - by posing provocatively for a men's magazine. The High School Musical actress recently admitted posing for naked camera phone shots that she meant only for the eyes of boyfriend Zac Efron. But the saucy snaps fell into a third party's hands - and the mystery voyeur quickly realised he had images worth a fortune. The naked pictures have already appeared on select websites, forcing Hudgens, 18, to come clean and admit she's the girl that many fans thought was a look-alike. In a statement released last week (ends07Sep07), the Hudgens said, "I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends." But Hudgens has no plans to become a shrinking violet anytime soon - she's hoping to follow fellow teen star Hayden Panettiere by posing for sexy magazine shots. Heroes star Panettiere recently celebrated her 18th birthday by posing for a sexy shoot in the British issue of men's magazine FHM. Hudgens says, "I think being a woman and being able to show a sexy side is empowering. Being able to show we are comfortable in our skin is a good thing. I totally would pose for a sexy magazine. But not Playboy." Meanwhile, the teenager is also considering a $500,000 (£250,000) deal to become a Girl Gone Wild. GGW boss Joe Francis is hoping to persuade the Disney star to let him sex up her good girl image in a statement he has released from behind bars in Nevada, where he is serving a prison sentence for fraud. Francis says "Vanessa Hudgens is the classic girl next door gone wild. Being sexual is not a crime."
