Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly
Following a brilliant 2006, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly releases a stunning new single, I Spy, on 5th March 2007 on Atlantic Records. The single, featuring a remix by Metronomy and an exclusive acoustic version of Get Cape's recent top 40 single War Of The Worlds.
I Spy is one of the many highlight tracks of Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly's critically and commercially successful debut album, The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager. At the same time, Sam Duckworth is one of our few musicians with something to say. His music - a reboot of protest music shot through with a youths-eye-view of Britain - tackles issues ranging from rampant consumerism and third world sweat shops to Endemol, Big Brother and cultural dumbing-down, as well as documenting personal run-ins with the BNP in his hometown of Southend. A fervent anti-racism campaigner, Sam has been a vocal supporter of the Love Music Hate Racism cause, his involvement culminating in a gig with Billy Bragg in November in front of the inmates at Brixton Prison
