Gerry Rafferty's fiancee has launched a court battle in a bid to win a share of the late star's fortune.
The 63-year-old Scottish songwriter, known for his iconic tracks Stuck In The Middle With You and Baker Street, died last January (11) after suffering liver failure, caused by years of heavy drinking.
It was subsequently revealed his partner Ezina Fuschini had been left out of his will, as he approved the legal document before he met her in 2008.
His $1.9 million (£1.2 million) estate has been bequeathed to his only daughter, Martha, and his song royalties left in trust for his granddaughter Celia, but Fuschini has now filed a legal challenge to win a share.
She has filed papers at Britain's High Court under the Inheritance Act 1975, which enables those being supported financially by the deceased before their death to obtain 'reasonable financial provision', according to the Mail on Sunday.
If Fuschini's claim is successful, she could win a substantial payout.
