Drake BREAKS BEATLES CHART RECORD

Rap megastar Drake has just overhauled a Billboard chart record held by The Beatles for over half a century, after his new track with Bad Bunny landed in the top ten this week.

The 32 year old’s guest spot on ‘MIA’ means that he’s now had 12 songs reach the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2018 – the most that any artist has had in a single year. It meant that a chart record that had stood for 54 years, when The Beatles scored 11 top ten hits in 1964 when both ‘I Feel Fine’ and ‘She’s A Woman’ entered the charts in America on December 26th that year.

Gerard Way 'wouldn't Count Out' My Chemical Romance Reunion

Gerard Way ''wouldn't count out'' a My Chemical Romance reunion.

The 40-year-old musician was a member of the 'Welcome To The Black Parade' rockers from their formation in 2001 until their split in 2013, and has said that whilst the members - including Frank Iero, Ray Torro, and Gerard's brother Mikey - are all doing their own things, he wouldn't rule out a reunion in the future.

He said: ''I wouldn't count [a reunion] out, but at the same time everybody's doing stuff in their lives now that they're really enjoying.''

Gerard Way To Release Two Songs For Record Store Day 2017

Gerard Way is set to release two new songs in aid of Record Store Day 2017.

The former My Chemical Romance singer will release the tracks 'Into The Cave We Wander' and 'Pogi's Cavern' on a 12'' picture disk to mark the annual celebration of independent record stores on Saturday April 22.

Only 5,000 copies of the record will be available worldwide, and will come in a clear vinyl sleeve alongside a ''32-page comic''.

For My Chemical Romance, their departure from the music scene still stings - but the members are trying to ease the pain as much as they can with some new music with their new projects.

My Chemical Romance, who disbanded in early 2013, scored two top ten albums and multiple top ten singles throughout their illustrious career. From their early days with 2004’s Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge all the way to 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, My Chemical Romance has made their mark as one of the most influential rock bands in recent memory, and their breakup wasn’t taken lightly. “We’ve shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends. And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure,” the band said when breaking the news.

The latest additions to this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals have been announced and amongst the fresh batch of acts is the former My Chemical Romance frontman, who will play his first live shows as a solo artists at this year’s dual mega-event. Gerard Way’s iconic band had recently become defunct after mutually deciding to lay the group to bed. The multi-million record selling giants of emo rock recently released a greatest hits album entitled May Death Never Stop You but have failed to announce any farewell tour dates, much to the chagrin of their huge and loyal fanbase.
