George Takei found his leadership skills wanting, and it was ultimately this that saw the former 'Star Trek' actor booted out of the competition of the US 'Celebrity Apprentice' by Donald Trump. Takei had been leading the men in the task against the women which saw each team design two living window displays at a Lord & Taylor's store showcasing Ivanka Trump's clothing collection. You might say that the girls had a bit of an advantage on this one, even though fashion aficionado Teresa Giudice - star of 'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' - was looked over to lead their team, reports the Daily Mail.
With the competition being judged by Ivanka herself, stakes were high and the competition was judged on three pieces of criteria: creativity, brand messaging and overall presentation. Takei's problems began however when team mates Clay Aiken and Adam Carolla began criticizing him for taking too long to make decisions with Aiken saying "I am not 100% sure that George is aware of what is going on," and Carolla adding "George didn't exactly take the bull by the horns... I smell trouble."
