It seems George Clooney's happiness in his personal life, following his fairytale-like marriage to Amal Clooney, has been reflected in his work with him taking on a positive and uplifting story in Disney's 'Tomorrowland'. With films like 'The Hunger Games', 'World War Z' and 'Divergent', it's clear that the idea of a dystopian future is a popular one in cinema, but sometimes it's necessary to take a break from the misery and hopelessness with a little Disney utopia. 'It's a very optimistic film and [Disneyland] is probably one of the most optimistic places in the world', says Clooney. 'I think that's him; if you know Brad [Bird - director] at all that's exactly who he is. He's the most optimistic guy in the world and he wanted to tell a story about the idea that the future isn't necessarily apocalyptic and bad and inevitable. That's why I loved the idea of the film.'

Optimism is yet to become the order of the day, however, as latest box office figures show that Dwayne Johnson's Earthquake disaster movie 'San Andreas' is the latest to grip audiences, and the even more apocalyptic 'Mad Max: Fury Road' continues to stir up a storm in movie theaters.

Next for George Clooney, though, is Jodie Foster's 'Money Monster', which sees him play a financial mastermind who finds himself facing off against a vengeful would-be entrepreneur hell-bent on terrorism. It's still filming, and its set to be released sometime next year.
