George Clooney and his human rights lawyer fiancée Amal Alamuddin have been congratulated on their engagement by the law firm in London where she works.
The 'Monuments Men' actor - who has been dating the human rights lawyer since late last year - has yet to comment on the reports that he's got betrothed to the British human rights lawyer but Doughty Street Chambers, the legal company that she is employed by, appear to have confirmed the news with a statement wishing the happy couple their best.
A statement from the firm said: ''The barristers and staff of Doughty Street Chambers offer their best wishes and congratulations to Ms. Amal Alamuddin, a member of Chambers, and Mr. George Clooney on their engagement to be married.''
The couple were first linked after a dinner date in October and their romance has been getting increasingly more serious in recent months.
