Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney was celebrated at the Los Angeles Film
Festival on Saturday night with a career retrospective.
Guests including Sam Rockwell, Virginia Madsen, Shohreh Aghdashloo,
Allison Janney and Clooney's OCEAN'S ELEVEN co-star Don Cheadle, honoured
Clooney, from his work on ER to a movie career including roles in big budget
movies The Perfect Storm
and Ocean's Eleven.
The actor told reporters, "You try to do a little bit to make it that you
can afford to do the things you are most passionate about.
"It's a trade-off. If you do it well, if you're lucky, you sort of bounce
back and forth and you're about to sort of constantly go back and touch the
things that are important to you."
