Gene Simmons says married life is "terrific".
The KISS bass player tied the knot with Shannon Tweed, his partner of 28 years, last month and he is enjoying every moment of being a husband so far.
Speaking at the Orange Amplification Classic Rock Roll of Honour 2011 â which he presented - at The Roundhouse in London on Wednesday night (09.11.11), he told BANG Showbiz: "Married life is terrific, my kids are my proof and if they are any indication then I've done the right thing. It's been great and it was without doubt the right choice."
The 62-year-old rocker â who attended the event with his wife and their two children, Nick, 22, and 19-year-old Sophie Alexandra - joked his family will be going on a KISS cruise in 2012 after the band got 3,000 of their loyal fans together earlier this year and took them on a trip through the Bahamas.
Gene â who claims to have bedded 4,800 women - added: "We have already booked another KISS cruise for the fans next year and we're also going to do a family cruise if they want to do it?"
