Gary Sinise, Joe Mantegna, B.B. King and Dianne Wiest are among the stars who will pay tribute to America's troops and veterans at an upcoming Memorial Day concert.
Sinise and Mantegna will co-host the 2011 National Memorial Day Concert on the Capitol grounds in Washington, D.C. to honour men and women in uniform and their families.
Blues star King, American Idol winner Kris Allen and classical singer Hayley Westenra are expected to perform with the National Symphony Orchestra, while actors Forest Whitaker and Jason Ritter are also scheduled to appear.
A special opening segment will commemorate those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on 9/11 and celebrate the heroism of New York City's firemen and policemen who helped in the tragedy.
The programme will be broadcast live on 29 May (11) - a day before the U.S. celebrates Memorial Day on 30 May (11).
