Oscar-nominated actor Gary Sinise is hosting a film festival in Los Angeles this month (JAN06) which will focus on the relief work he has undertaken in troubled Iraq.

The Forrest Gump actor co-founded Operation Iraqi Children - an organisation which sends out classroom supplies to improve children's education in the war torn nation.
