MAD WORLD singer Gary Jules credits his successful battle with drink as the reason behind his current success.
American Jules, 34, who is still topping the British charts with the TEARS FOR FEARS cover, plunged into a downward spiral of depression and alcohol abuse following his first failed attempts at musical stardom.

Jules says, "Let's just say a life-time of bad habits had got out of hand.
"For a while, I was my own worst enemy but when I cleaned up, my luck started to change."11/01/2004 10:30
