Actor Gary Dourdan faced a race against time to fly back to Los Angeles for a court hearing on Monday (21May12) and made it with just 45 minutes to spare.
Los Angeles officials issued a warrant for his arrest after he missed a Monday morning court appointment stemming from an assault and battery case filed against the former Csi: Crime Scene Investigation star by his ex-girlfriend Nicole Cannizzaro in February (12).
Dourdan has been filming on location in Morocco and he was absent from court after missing his flight home, however he jetted back to Los Angeles from Frankfurt, Germany in time for the 2.30pm (local time) deadline.
He arrived at the court in Los Angeles with 45 minutes to spare after his long journey and Judge Stephanie Sautner recalled the bench warrant.
She asked the actor, "How's the jet lag?" and Dourdan replied, "Hasn't hit me yet," according to E! Online.
Cannizzaro claims the 45 year old punched her in the face and broke her nose during a fight last autumn (11).
Dourdan is due back in court on 7 June (12).
