British singer Gary Barlow is set to play one of the smallest shows of his career after signing up for a charity pub performance.

The Take That star will play for a crowd at U.K. DJ Chris Evans' Mulberry Inn in Surrey, south England in aid of Children in Need next year (13).

Speaking on Evans' radio show on Friday (02Nov12), Barlow says, "I've played many venues in my life - stadiums, arenas, theatres. I've always dreamed of playing this venue, which is the only reason I've agreed to it really other than the charity aspect."

Tickets for the gig will be raffled to raise money for the charity, which helps disadvantaged youngsters.
