Actress Freida Pinto was taken aback when the cameras started rolling on the set of the latest Planet Of The Apes movie, because she couldn't get to grips with James Franco's style of acting.
The Slumdog Millionaire beauty plays a scientist and girlfriend of Franco's character in the upcoming prequel, but admits it took her a while to get used to the Hollywood hunk's on-set methods.
But despite a shaky start, Pinto credits the Milk star for helping her master new techniques.
She tells Total Film magazine, "He's got his own unique and distinctive style of acting. It's not conventional at all. It does take you by surprise initially, but it's all about being flexible and trying to understand how another actor works. I found a lot of things in his acting style that I could pick up and learn from."
