Freemasons ft Amanda Wilson;
The Freemasons utilise Amanda Wilson's soulful and high-pitched R N B flirting vocals and shake up an old Deborah Cox number 'It's Over Now' to give it a hip futuristic feel. Six remixes of the track mean that anyone buying the song will probably play it more than the original song has been played since the turn of the new millennium.
The Walkmen Remix juxtaposes Wilson's lucid style with some eerily distorted male vocals that kick off from a fat bass line, changing the mood to a captivating bitter/sweet one. Unfortunately, the Motivo Hi-Lectro remix goes the other way, relying on oft used dance loops and doesn't stretch the sound enough to change it from the opening Radio Edit much at all. Overall, Wilson's vocals are the guiding light that is taking the Freemasons into public earshot.
