Fred Armisen has finalised his divorce with Elisabeth Moss, according to Associated Press. It had taken eight months for Fred Armisen's divorce to be finalised. Court records show that Judge Hugh Bobys granted a divorce on 13 May (2011), eight months after the 'Mad Men' actress moved out of their home, thus ending their marriage. No details of a financial settlement were filed with the court.

The pair had married in October 2009 but then separated in June, eight months later. According to Ontheredcarpet, the actress had then filed for divorce in September 2010, citing irreconcilable differences as a cause for the breakdown of their marriage. This was Moss' first marriage, but the second for Armisen, who was previously married to The Mekons singer SALLY TIMMS.

Elisabeth Moss plays the career-oriented Peggy Olson on AMC's Emmy Award-winning 'Mad Men'. She is set to follow her 1950s roots by appearing alongside Sam Riley and Kirsten Dunst in the Beat Generation movie 'On the Road' later this year. Fred Armisen has appeared on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" since 2002 and parodies President Barack Obama on the show. Armisen will appear in the new 'Smurfs' movie later this year as the voice of Brainy Smurf.
