Rockers Franz Ferdinand cringe when they hear their song COME ON HOME - because it features a keyboard sound they all hate.

The Scottish band blame the presence of the offensive sound on their experimental producer TOR JOHANNSEN, who had originally laced the tune with a wide variety of instruments.

But despite insisting many sounds be removed, the group are still unhappy the song was included on their eponymous debut last year (04).

Drummer PAUL THOMSON says, "The keyboard on Come On Home makes me cringe. It was a mistake."

Frontman Alex Kapranos adds, "It's only still in there because me and Paul chopped out four million other unnecessary cr*p things.

"TOR JOHANNSEN (Franz's ex-producer) is brilliant, but he did try to fill every song with stuff."
