Organisers of Scottish rock festival T In The Park have rubbished reports the event is being ditched amid bird flu fears. The two-day summer (06) extravaganza, which will feature Franz Ferdinand and The Who, was rumoured to be under threat after an outbreak of the infection in the east of the country. But festival bosses insist ticket holders have nothing to fear. A spokesman says, "As avian influenza is a disease of birds and not humans, we can confirm that there is no threat of T In The Park being cancelled or moved."
