Frankie Sandford has raised concerns amongst 'Saturdays' fans after checking herself into a 'mystery clinic'. A spokesman for the girl band told the UK's Daily Star that the singer had been admitted to a facility for "unconfirmed reasons", sending the rumour mill into overdrive about a possible band split.
After news began to circulate, some fans speculated the group could be on the verge of call it a day, but the singer assured Twitter followers she was simply suffering from illness. She said, "Sorry I haven't tweeted in a while. I've not been very well". It is unclear where Sandford is being treated, but she also tweeted band mates Mollie, Una, Vanessa and Rochelle telling them she "missed them", and adding, "I'll b back soon" (sic). Aol's 'Eleven' have been in touch with Frankie's spokespeople, who explained she is "currently off work under doctors orders. She will be back with The Saturdays soon, when she is fully recovered". It is thought the singer will re-join the group immediately after completing her time in the clinic.
The Saturday's new single 'My Heart Takes Over' is released on 13th November 2011, with new album 'On Your Radar' following a week later on 21st November.
