Late rock eccentric Frank Zappa's wife Gail has revealed her husband was such a prolific songwriter, the couple had to build a huge vault beneath the family home to store all of his recordings.

As Gail Zappa prepares to release her husband's 100th album, Dance Me This, she reveals many of the masters and recordings released since his death were archived in the vault Zappa built in the early 1980s.

She tells CelebrityAccess.com, "There's a vault underneath the house... When did we build it? 1980-ish. That's when we went digital."
