Singing legend Frank Sinatra pushed a woman through a plate glass window when she wouldn't have sex with him, according to a new book.

SINATRA: THE LIFE, by ANTHONY SUMMERS and ROBBYN SWAN, includes a claim by agent MILT EBBINS that Sinatra once invited a hat-check girl from the Florentine Gardens in Hollywood back to his house.

Sinatra then allegedly turned on the girl when she "wouldn't cooperate sexually. She was severely injured. Many stitches. Frank settled for a large sum of money."

But ROBERY A FINKELSTEIN of SINATRA ENTERPRISES has rubbished the story, insisting, "It sounds crazy. Frank Sinatra honoured women all the time."
