Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances has prevailed in a legal battle to keep photographs taken at the scene of her father’s death sealed from the public, following an application from a conspiracy theorist to have them released.
The Nirvana frontman’s death in April 1994 was ruled officially as suicide, but conspiracy theorists have always abounded that foul play was involved. In 2014, one such theorist, Richard Lee, sued the city of Seattle over the sealed status of images taken at the scene, believing that Cobain was killed by government officials.
Court documents state that the photographs depict “Cobain’s body as it lay in the family residence after he was shot in the head”, according to a report by The Blast on Monday (May 14th).

Sam Lutfi, who used to be Love’s manager and was also connected closely with Britney Spears during the latter’s public meltdown several years ago, is said to be under investigation from police after they received a report that he had and two other accomplices “grabbed” Silva earlier this month and bundled him into a car, according to an article published by Radar Online after they obtained a police report.

The Los Angeles Superior Court has confirmed that Frances has split from her husband, the 31 year old frontman of rock group The Eeries. Their separation date is listed as February 24th, 2016, less than two years after they got married in June 2014.

A new album from late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain is coming this summer, according to Montage of Heck director Brett Morgen. Morgen, who was given unprecedented access to Cobain’s archives while making the documentary, has said he found over 200 hours of never heard before material and rare music in the singer’s collection.
