Travis frontman Fran Healy has sent a warning to Bloc Party singer KELE OKEREKE - his rocker pal Liam Gallagher wants to "kick his arse".
Okereke and the Oasis frontman have been embarking on a war of words in the British press since last year (06).
Okereke said, "(Oasis) had a totally negative and dangerous impact on the state of British music. It is really daft to reinforce the idea that there is something cool about being dumb."
Healy explains, "When Liam catches up with Kele he'll probably kick his arse.
"But you have to admire Kele. He's gobby (loud-mouthed) but he's smart with it. His anti-Oasis rant made me sit up. I won't say it was what made me buy the Bloc Party album but it did get my attention and I have bought the album."
