Actress Fran Drescher is set to hit the Broadway stage next year (14) as Cinderella's evil stepmother.
The Nanny star has signed on to make her debut in New York's theatre district for a 10-week run in the new Rogers + Hammerstein musical, which will kick off on 4 February (14).
She will take over the role as Madame from actress Harriet Harris, who is currently playing the part.
Drescher is no stranger to the stage - she previously appeared in Nora Ephron's Love, Loss, and What I Wore Off-Broadway in 2009.
