Florence Welch was starstruck and speechless when she met her idol - Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler.
The Florence and the MAChine singer is a big fan of the cult Canadian rockers and admits she was starry-eyed when she was introduced to them at London's O2 Arena in 2010.
But despite her joy, the Dog Days Are Over hitmaker also had a "little cry" after her dream moment - as Butler had no idea who she was.
Welch tells Mojo magazine, "I really fanned-out with him, because I am such a big Arcade Fire fan. I met them all after their show at the O2. I couldn't speak, and I thought I made a real goof of myself. I think I had a little cry about that as well.
"I don't think they listen to that much modern music. He was being really sweet: 'Hi, I haven't actually heard your record yet, but I will.' Obviously, I was completely heartbroken. And I garbled something and had to leave. I was really starstruck."
