British singer Florence Welch has no desire to become as famous as soul sensation Adele, because she enjoys going incognito in public.
The Florence and the MAChine frontwoman has seen her fellow Brit storm the charts worldwide, but Welch is keen to maintain her relatively low-key profile so she can enjoy her personal life in peace.
She tells Digital Spy, "It's funny with Adele... the level of fame I have now means I can quite easily slip by in everyday life unnoticed.
"I don't really get hassled by the tabloids, which is a position I'd really like to keep. That huge success means you have to give up such a large amount of your life.
"I already feel like mine is planned out for the next two years, so I don't think I'd like to get any more famous! That said, Adele's success was so unpredictable."
