Florence and the Machine star Florence Welch is reaping the benefits of banning booze at her gigs as her vocal range has increased since she quit drinking.
The singer stopped guzzling drinks before her shows last year (10) after her mother became worried about her onstage stunts.
Welch has stuck to her pledge, and she is now noticing other plus points of staying sober.
She tells Britain's The Sun, "I have stopped drinking on tour. I feel a bit more responsibility for my body and for my fans who come to see us. I had shows every day and I can't do that with a hangover. So I've been good to myself.
"This is the best job in the world and I don't want to spoil it. Stopping drinking has made a huge difference to my vocal range too."
