Folk band Fleet Foxes are looking for a new drummer after Joshua Tillman quit to focus on his solo career.
Tillman has played with the group for four years, taking percussion duties on its self-titled debut album and last year's (11) follow-up Helplessness Blues.
He also toured the world with the band, but now he's announced he will leave after a show in Tokyo, Japan on Friday (20Jan12) to concentrate on his new album, which is due for release under his solo moniker Father John Misty in May (12).
On his official website, Tillman writes, "Farewell Fleet fans and friends. Back into the gaping maw of obscurity I go. Tokyo is my last show with the Foxes. Sorry if I was distant and obtuse if we ever met. Have fun."
