Watch the trailer for Moon.
Moon is set in the near future, Earths primary source of power is Helium-3, a substance that is mined on the moon. In charge of the whole project on the moon is one man, Sam Bell, an astronaut employed by Lunar Industries on a lonely three year contract.
Sam is the only person on the moon; the job he does is very important but only requires one person. His main source of communication is broken, the satellite he's been using to reach people on earth is broken. He can now only receive and send pre-recorded messages but he's only got two weeks to go before his contract ends.
On a routine check around the mining station, Sam crashes his moon buggy, somehow Sam finds himself recovering back at his base, with no idea how he got back. When he fully wakes, he meets another version of himself who says he's just arrived on the moon to fulfil the three year contract. Sam is against the clock to discover what's going on and how he fits into Lunar Industries plan.
