Robert Reich is the former US Labor Secretary who knows a thing or two about inequality. Standing at just 4 feet 10 inches tall, he's had his fair share of ignorance, but now he's determined to stand up for those who are being pushed out economically; the American worker. Following World War II, the economy itself boomed, but the gradual growth only brought with it more and more inequality between the social classes. With the wealthiest citizens of the States having more money than most of the middle class put together, Reich sees this as a terrible danger to the troubled economy and the population majority that live in it. Dubbed a 'communist' by many of his critics, Reich sets out to prove that the hardest workers are being cheated.
'Inequality For All' is a hard-hitting documentary following Robert Reich around the country as he gives out speeches in various seminars and presentations. It has been directed by Jacob Kornbluth ('The Best Thief in the World', 'Haiku Tunnel') and won the Special Jury Prize at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, while also being nominated for the Editing Award and the Grand Jury Prize. It is set to be released in the US on January 19th 2013.
