Mexico is one of the most diverse countries in the world with ancient and traditional cultures being practiced alongside Western ideologies and a variety of music, arts and religions being a major part of the nation. In this documentary, these different subjects are explored as this colourful country begins to accept the diversity between its people; we see how the majority of the population being Roman Catholics learn to live among the minorities with alternative religions, and how those who practice traditional music see those who are more into the pop and rock bands of mainstream Western culture.
With appearances from actor Diego Luna ('Milk', 'Frida', 'The Terminal'), electronic 5-piece band Kinky and singer/ songwriter Lila Downs, 'Hecho En Mexico' is a documentary brought to you by Duncan Bridgeman ('1 Giant Leap') revealing insight in the most iconic musicians, performers and other artists of Mexico and discovering what the real meaning is behind being 'made in Mexico'. This vibrant documentary will be released on November 30th 2012 in the USA.
