Fergie (born Stacy Ann Ferguson, 27.3.1975)
Fergie is an American singer / songwriter and actress, who first shot to notoriety as a vocalist for the band Black Eyed Peas. She also has a successful career as a solo artist.
Childhood: Fergie was born to Terri Jackson and Patrick Ferguson, in Hacienda Heights, California. Her parents are of Mexican, Scottish and Irish heritage. They were both Catholic schoolteachers.
As well as attending Glen A. Wilson High School and Mesa Robles Middle School, she attended dance school, where her mother found her an agent who sourced voiceover work for her. Fergie provided the voices for Lucy and Sally in the Peanuts cartoon.
Fergie was a straight-A student and even won a spelling bee. In the summer holidays, between 1984-9, she performed chart hits on the TV show Kids Incorporated.
Musical Career: Fergie formed a band, Wild Orchid, with fellow Kids Incorporated star Renee Sandstrom and Stefanie Ridel. The band released two albums but their label refused to release their third and Fergie left the band as a result.
Will.i.am of the band Black Eyed Peas invited Fergie to record the song 'Shut Up' for their 2003 album Elephunk. The band liked the recording and got on so well with her that they asked her to record an additional five songs for the album. She soon became a permanent member of the band.
During a performance in 2005, Fergie accidentally urinated onstage.
Fergie's solo album, The Dutchess was released in 2006, though she retained her duties working with Black Eyed Peas. Will.i.am was the executive producer for her solo debut.
The album spawned six hit singles. 'London Bridge', 'Glamorous', 'Big Girls Don't Cry', 'Clumsy' and 'Finally' were all number one singles. She won the title of 'Favourite Female Artist at the American Music Awards in 2007. Later on that year, she performed at Wembley Stadium as a part of the concert for the late Princess Diana that was arranged by Diana's two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.

There's really not much excuse for this; Josh Duhamel has dropped some major news about wife Fergie's music plans regarding her tour and album release. And it's not like he doesn't know about keeping secrets in showbiz given that he's an actor himself. Well at least he's showing an interest.

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2015 - co-presented once again by Ryan Seacrest - aired with performances spanning a handful of venues - not just the usual Hollywood and Times Square, New York concerts.
Lady Antebellum rocked out the Nashville NYE party
Over in Nashville was the Bash on Broadway New Year's Eve party which saw a record number of concert-goers at the event - approximately 130,000. It's unsurprising given some of the stellar acts that were lined up to enter 2015 in style, among them being country legends Lady Antebellum and Gavin Degraw, the latter of whom unveiled his debut compilation album last year entitled 'Finest Hour: The Best of Gavin DeGraw'.
Fergie has taken some time out since welcoming son Axl Jack into the world with Josh Duhamel.
We may not have been seeing much of Fergie in recent months, but that doesn't mean she hasn't been super busy. The singer took some time out to enjoy becoming a mother for the first time following the birth of Axl Jack Duhamel in August 2013.
