Fergie (born Stacy Ann Ferguson, 27.3.1975)
Fergie is an American singer / songwriter and actress, who first shot to notoriety as a vocalist for the band Black Eyed Peas. She also has a successful career as a solo artist.
Childhood: Fergie was born to Terri Jackson and Patrick Ferguson, in Hacienda Heights, California. Her parents are of Mexican, Scottish and Irish heritage. They were both Catholic schoolteachers.
As well as attending Glen A. Wilson High School and Mesa Robles Middle School, she attended dance school, where her mother found her an agent who sourced voiceover work for her. Fergie provided the voices for Lucy and Sally in the Peanuts cartoon.
Fergie was a straight-A student and even won a spelling bee. In the summer holidays, between 1984-9, she performed chart hits on the TV show Kids Incorporated.
Musical Career: Fergie formed a band, Wild Orchid, with fellow Kids Incorporated star Renee Sandstrom and Stefanie Ridel. The band released two albums but their label refused to release their third and Fergie left the band as a result.
Will.i.am of the band Black Eyed Peas invited Fergie to record the song 'Shut Up' for their 2003 album Elephunk. The band liked the recording and got on so well with her that they asked her to record an additional five songs for the album. She soon became a permanent member of the band.
During a performance in 2005, Fergie accidentally urinated onstage.
Fergie's solo album, The Dutchess was released in 2006, though she retained her duties working with Black Eyed Peas. Will.i.am was the executive producer for her solo debut.
The album spawned six hit singles. 'London Bridge', 'Glamorous', 'Big Girls Don't Cry', 'Clumsy' and 'Finally' were all number one singles. She won the title of 'Favourite Female Artist at the American Music Awards in 2007. Later on that year, she performed at Wembley Stadium as a part of the concert for the late Princess Diana that was arranged by Diana's two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
Personal Life: Fergie is engaged to the actor Josh Duhamel, star of the TV show Las Vegas.
The singer has admitted being addicted to Crystal meth and Ecstasy in the past.

'L.A. Love (La La)' singer Fergie was spotted looking like she was thoroughly enjoying herself at the first weekend of Coachella in Indio, California. She stops to take several selfies with fans who swamp her as she makes her way through the Empire Polo Club field, and on being asked if she's going to stick around for AC/DC's set, flashes devil horns with her fingers and appears to agree.

Fergie gave a live performance of her 22nd May 2007 single 'Big Girls Don't Cry' while onstage at the 2015 New Year's Rockin' Eve show. The single featured as the tenth track on Fergie's 13th September 2006 album 'The Duchess'.
Onstage at the 2015 New Year's Rockin' Eve, Fergie gave a live performance of her song 'L.A.LOVE (la la)'. The single was released on 29th September 2014 and is supposedly serving as the first single from her upcoming second album.

Lady Antebellum rocked out the Nashville NYE party
Over in Nashville was the Bash on Broadway New Year's Eve party which saw a record number of concert-goers at the event - approximately 130,000. It's unsurprising given some of the stellar acts that were lined up to enter 2015 in style, among them being country legends Lady Antebellum and Gavin Degraw, the latter of whom unveiled his debut compilation album last year entitled 'Finest Hour: The Best of Gavin DeGraw'.
Fergie has taken some time out since welcoming son Axl Jack into the world with Josh Duhamel.
We may not have been seeing much of Fergie in recent months, but that doesn't mean she hasn't been super busy. The singer took some time out to enjoy becoming a mother for the first time following the birth of Axl Jack Duhamel in August 2013.

In support of LGBT rights, 2014 Emery Awards at Cipriani Wall Street took place in New York, United States. During the arrivals, various celebrities were seen, including singer/songwriter Fergie. Alexander J (better known as Miss J), a reality television personality was also seen at the arrivals, as was Cheyenne Jackson, a Broadway actor and singer.
Black Eyed Peas member, Fergie released her single, 'L.A. Love (La La)' on 29th September, 2014. The single is supposedly due to appear on Fergie's second studio album, which has not yet seen an official announcement. It will be Fergie's first album since her debut, 'The Duchess', in 2006.
