Actress and Dolce & Gabbana spokeswoman Felicity Jones reveals that make-up allows her to differentiate between herself and the character she's playing.
Felicity Jones uses her ''face as a canvas''.
The actress and face of Dolce & Gabbana's Animalier collection loves experimenting with make-up and says creating a different look for film roles allows her to get into character keep herself separate from her role.
She told Britain's Hello! magazine: ''I've always loved make-up, especially now I understand how it can change a character. I use my face as a canvas in work and also in normal life. It's the subtle tweaks that can shift how you look, especially on film. And I adore Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, too. They love the theatre of fashion.
''Somehow, the stronger sense of self you have, the better an actor you can become because of the enormous changes you go through when you take a character on. Michelle Williams said wearing wigs is fascinating because at the end of the day, you can come back to being you when you take the wig off. So I try to do that with make-up.''
The 29-year-old beauty also revealed how she loves mixing and matching her clothes, pairing vintage with modern day.
She said: ''I do like vintage because I find the tailoring suits my shape. I like to mix clothes - some vintage, some high street, but I love Dolce because it has a vintage element.''
