The BBC chart show could be about to make a comeback after being axed in 2006.
Classic chart show 'Top of the Pops' could be set to make on comeback on Friday nights, with Fearne Cotton and Dermot O’Leary fronting a new look show. According to The Mirror, BBC bosses have been discussing how a revamped 'TOTP' could work, in conjunction with Radio 1 moving its chart show from Sundays to Fridays.
Fearne Cotton could be set to host a new look 'TOTP'.
An insider told the newspaper, “'Top of the Pops' is a great brand name and the BBC are keen to use it. Some at the highest level are massive supporters of the plan and have given the go-ahead. The new Friday night charts could be the perfect tie-in – with 'Top of the Pops' a brilliant start to the weekend.”
Fearne Cotton will star in the new Teletubbies show.
Cbeebies is rebooting Teletubbies for the small-screen with a new star-studded cast including Fearne Cotton and Jim Broadbent. Actress Jane Horrocks will voice the character of the new 'tubby phone' - a mobile gadget that will transport Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po into the modern day.

Allen's cheeky nod is to her album name, not Fearne Cotton, it would seem...
Lilly Allen has confirmed, while talking to Graham Norton on his late night talk show, that her new album will be called Sheezus. She also admitted the title is a slight not to Kanye West’s Yeezus, calling it a “confident” choice.

"It's a confident title choice - and a little nod to Kanye West," explained Allen while appearing on the Graham Norton Show. ‘It's Not Me, It's You’ and ‘Alright, Still’ became certified triple-platinum albums in the UK when they sold over 900k copies, so Allen will he hoping her confident choice translates into a matching performance.

The DJ opens up on her ink.
Fearne Cotton’s back after doing the whole mum thing. She still has to do the whole mum thing for another 18 years+, but she’s mixing up the mum thing and the DJ thing. And now she’s back, she’s talking to the press, but not about her new bundle of joy – about her tattoos…
Fearne Cotton arrives for work
"There may be one or two tattoos I regret now that I have the wisdom to know not to put certain things on your body. But it’s all beautiful art. A Mark Mahoney is like a Picasso. He does Johnny Depp and me," explained Cotton to the Daily Mail.

The whole world has caught the twerking bug, Fearne's now back on telly.
Celebrity Juice squeezed its way back on to television screens last night (29th Aug) and the Keith Lemon-hosted comedy panel show welcomed back its two team captains, Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby, for a whole new series of the show thrice voted the 'Worst British TV Panel Show' by the Comedy Guide.
Fearne Has Caught The Twerking Bug.
Fearne Cotton, the bouncy-haired radio star of Radio 1, tweeted excitedly before the show aired and promised her fans plenty of bum shaking actions with stills from the new series' first episode. Inspired by singer Miley Cyrus' MTV VMAs performance last Sunday, Cotton showed Juice viewers her interpretation of Miley's now-notorious twerk move, whereby a dancer's rear jiggles about when their hips are shaken.
Keith Lemon insists Katie Price will never again appear on his hit show Celebrity Juice.
Keith Lemon, aka Leigh Francis, says Katie Price will "never" appear on his ITV2 show Celebrity Juice again after she branded new team captain Kelly Brook a "heifer' - a derogatory term for a large female, also a term for a cow. Keith, 39, told the Reveal magazine, "Katie is never coming back on Celebrity Juice. She was rubbish when she came on here before. She was wooden and didn't relax and thought we were trying to take the p*ss. We were, but that's the point of the show."
Katie, 34, fell out with fellow British model Kelly, 33, after calling her a "heifer" in her Sun column. "You're a heifer, Kelly, but still a hot one," adding, "Every mum should make her daughter look at the recent set of pictures that show Kelly modelling her latest New Look swimwear range. They don't seem to be airbrushed and I'm Flabbergasted to see how big Kelly really is." Price has since apologised for the remarks, though it seems it's too little too late as far as Celebrity Juice goes.
Price has appeared on the comedy panel show twice, once in 2010 when Fearne Cotton was still on the panel, and another time late last year when Keith Lemon congratulated her for being attracted to him for 17 years.
Radio One DJ Fearne Cotton as selected old pal Kye Sones to be godfather to baby Rex
Kye Sones may have missed out on taking part in the X Factor tour but the X Factor reject got lucky elsewhere in life, as his life-long pal Fearne Cotton has asked him to be godfather to her new-born son, Rex. According to The Mirror, Kye and Fearne have been mates since they were 11 and he revealed the cute way in which Fearne broke the news to him.
“I got a text from Fearne, with a picture of Rex,” said Kye. “It said ‘I love you so much already, I want you to be my godfather.’” He doesn’t seem entirely sure of what he’s getting himself in for, mind you, as he admitted “I don't know what exactly a godfather does but I'm definitely up for doing it. Rex is the cutest baby ever." Oh, well, as long as the baby’s cute, all that moral guidance stuff should be a walk in the park, huh, Kye? No word on who else Miss Cotton and her beau Jesse Wood are planning on having as godparents but we reckon Holly Willoughby’s a good bet. She and Fearne have been thick as thieves for years. Of course, when your grandfather is a Rolling Stone (Ronnie Wood, to be precise), we can’t help but think that having Kye Sones as a godparent is going to something of a let-down. Poor Rex.
Despite being really popular on X Factor (know, we can’t quite fathom why, either…) Kye Sones was not included in the high profile X Factor tour that the winners embark on every year.
