Actress Kate Mara Has Refused To Watch Her Superhero Movie Fantastic Four After It Received A Slew Of Scathing Reviews.
The House of Cards star plays Sue Storm, The Invisible Woman, in the movie, which garnered a series of bad write-ups from critics and suffered disappointing box office sales in the U.S. following its release in August (15).
Director Josh Trank even attacked his own film on the eve of the release, tweeting, "A year ago I had a fantastic version of this. And it would've received great reviews. You'll probably never see it. That's reality though."
Mara describes her director's actions as "highly disappointing" but insists she had a "good time" making the film despite a number of problems on set, telling British newspaper The Times, "It was a tricky shoot but you know... When you know when you're shooting it that a film isn't going to be what you want it to be (sic)? That was not the case at all."

Among the critics is Atlanta, Georgia DJ Jason Bailey, who asked the stars about the casting on his Rock 100.5 Morning Show, saying, "From what I've seen, you're brother and sister."

Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd has opened up about his attempts to start a family with wife Alice Evans, revealing the actress underwent an in-vitro fertilisation (Ivf) procedure after failing to fall pregnant naturally.
The couple wed in 2007 and welcomed little Ella two years later (09), but Gruffudd admits they endured a tough time and needed specialist treatment.
He tells Britain's Weekend magazine, "We'd wanted a baby for a while and after it didn't happen for us naturally we said, 'Let's take what science has to offer.' Luckily for us, it worked the first time so it wasn't a long, hard struggle.
"But that's just the beginning of the journey, then there's the whole other worry of, 'Are we going to get to 12 weeks?'. It was a long, anxious process and then Alice was on bed rest for the last eight weeks because of high blood pressure, which is quite serious."
