Rockers Fall Out Boy are planning to take a step back from the spotlight - in a bid to land a supporting slot for Kanye West or Green Day.
The Dance, Dance hitmakers proved their credentials at the start of their careers by touring as the opening act for other bands before finding worldwide fame in 2005.
The rockers have since picked up millions of loyal fans and have hit the road to headline their own concerts on the back of their success.
But bassist Pete Wentz and bandmates Patrick Stump, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley are keen to challenge themselves by signing up to support an already established act.
Wentz says, "We'd like to go out and support a band right now. It would be great to open for Green Day or Kanye West.
"That would be really cool - to go out and play a shorter set and have to win the audience over. That would be fun to do again.
"Most of the time now it's like preaching to the choir. It's fun to do too, but I remember the old days when we had to work really hard to win people over."
