Actor Faizon Love has been sued by the man he allegedly beat outside a Hollywood hotel in early 2009.
The star was accused of attacking a male after he was turned away from a nightclub inside The Standard hotel in Los Angeles in January 2009. He was charged with felony assault and released on $30,000 (£20,000) bail.
Now Love is facing a lawsuit from his alleged victim, Ryan Murphy, who claims in court papers filed earlier this month (Dec10) that he suffered "serious, disabling and permanent injuries".
In documents, Murphy's legal team states that Love made "unwanted and unwelcomed statements to him," before he "proceeded to strike (the) plaintiff with his fists".
Murphy is suing for unspecified damages.
