Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw's star-studded benefit concert raised an estimated $3 million (£2 million) to help Tennessee's flood victims rebuild their communities.
The country supercouple fronted the Nashville Rising charity gig at the city's Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday night (22Jun10) to raise money for those affected by the recent flooding in the region.
The money poured in following performances from Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Carrie Underwood, with host MCGraw telling the crowd the donations had raised between $2 million ($1.3 million) and $3 million (£2 million).
Hill praised the state's residents for pulling together during the crisis, which caused an estimated $2 billion worth of damage - insisting they are all equal when it comes to helping their local area.
She told the crowd, "Nashville will rise and that is why we have come together tonight. Musicians, football players, coaches, our elected officials, you in the audience, yes, we are all the same. We're just neighbours who care and friends who want to make a difference."
