R+B singer Faith Evans and her husband TODD RUSSAW are entering into a drug rehabilitation programme in a bid to abolish the charges against them.

The CAN'T BELIEVE star, who was once married to the late rapper THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G., and her record executive partner were charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine last month (JAN04), following their arrest in Hapeville, Georgia, America.

ERIK FRIEDLY, spokesman for the FULTON COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY's office, says the charges will be dropped if Evans and Russaw successfully complete a 13- week programme.

The pair attended Fulton County Magistrate RICHARD HICKS' courtroom yesterday (04FEB04) before leaving with their lawyers during a recess.
