Eva Mendes and reported boyfriend Ryan Gosling are seen cozying up to each other in a new Christmas-themed episode of FunnyOrDie's 'Drunk History' online series. The couple have been romantically linked since September, though have yet to address the rumors publically.
In the new festive video, titled 'Drunk History Christmas', the pair play a couple lying in bed drunkenly mouthing the words of comedian Allan MCLeod as he recites the 1823 poem 'The Night Before Christmas, saying, "His eyes how they twinkle, his cheeks were like jelly, his bowl full of jelly..He spoke not a word.but went straight to his work, and filled all the stockings..". The clip also features an appearance by Jim Carrey, as Santa Claus himself. The Drunk History series was created by actor Will Ferrell in 2007, with previous episodes having included Danny McBride, JOHN C. REILLY and Superbad actor Michael Cera. Mendes and Gosling, who were spotted wandering around Paris together earlier this month, will star opposite each other in crime thriller 'The Place Beyond the Pine' about a motorcycle stunt rider who is forced into a life of crime in order to provide for his wife and child.
It's been a whirlwind year for Gosling in particular, having received a Golden Globe nomination for his role in The Ides of March, and high praise for his performance in 'Drive'. However, to the disgust of his fans, he lost out on People magazine's World's Sexiest Man prize to BRADLEY COOPER.
