Eva Mendes is launching a children's clothing line.

The 'Hitch' star - who already has her own women's range with New York & Co - is adding to the collection with a new line for kids, entitled 'Mini Eva', for girls aged six months to four years.

The brunette beauty - who has six-month-old Esmeralda with her long term partner Ryan Gosling - will release the line in May and also announced plans to expand her label to include bridal, shoes and handbags.

The 41-year-old actress told WWD: ''I wear everything and use everything in the line. I'd never design something I wouldn't wear myself.

''The more people I can get products to, the better.''

Eva is also extending her jewellery line and was announced as the new creative director and face of Circa, a cosmetics label from Measa Group, last month.

The line was designed by the star to target the Hispanic market, although she insists the collection, which is available from Walgreens, is suitable for a variety of skin tones and will ''service all types of ethnicities.''

The range includes over 133 shades of products from lip stains, foundations and cheek colours to mascara and eyeliner, which come in Old Hollywood-style gold packaging and retail from $8 to $15.
