DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star Eva Longoria is keen to bring civil rights leader DOLORES HUERTA's (corr) story to the big screen.
The actress wants to play the co-founder and First Vice President Emeritus of the United Farm Workers of America in the 1960s, who gave birth to 11 children and helped give America's migrant workers a voice.
She says, "She was the backbone for the migrant workers' movement - but at the time, women had no voice."
Longoria also harbours desires to star in a historical film about her Aztec ancestors.
She tells LATINA magazine, "I want to do a movie about the Aztecs when they were conquered by the Spanish."19/04/2005 09:04
