Eva Longoria has told ET Online that she'll be rooting for George Clooney during Sunday night's Oscars. Although she won't actually be at the ceremony herself, because she'll be travelling, she says that she'll be "watching them from somewhere in the world."
When asked who she'll be cheering on, from wherever she is in the world, Eva told the reporter "I'm kind of boring because I'll be going for the favourite. I love The Artist, I love the actor in The Artist, I love that film, it was so beautiful. And I'm a big George Clooney fan, so I'm always rooting for George Clooney". The actor has been nominated for the Actor in a Leading Role Oscar, for his performance in The Descendants. He's up against Jean Dujardin for his performance in The Artist, as well as Demian Bichir for A Better Life, Gary Oldman for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Brad Pitt for his role in Moneyball. Clooney is also nominated in the Writing (Adapted Screenplay) category for The Ides of March.
Longoria was talking to reporters about her charitable foundation, which she says is 'her life.' She said that she believed it was important for magazines like Vanity Fair to "really get into the nitty-gritty and really user their platform to help women."
