Eva Longoria Parker has been involved in minor traffic accident.

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress was driving east on Hollywood Boulevard on Wednesday evening (20.10.10) when another vehicle made a left turn to enter a parking lot and allegedly hit Eva's car.

When police arrived at the scene in Los Angeles the 35-year-old star did complain she was suffering from some minor pain but did not go to hospital.

The other driver was not hurt and police are now investigating the matter.

It is believed Eva - who is married to basketball player Tony Parker - had been at her restaurant Beso before the accident happened.

The actress is currently gearing up to host the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs) in Madrid, Spain, on November 7.

Speaking about the prestigious ceremony, Eva said: "I'm beyond excited to host the 2010 EMAs. And getting to do it in the beautiful city of Madrid is the icing on the cake. I can't wait to see some fabulous performances and I absolutely love that the most nominated artists this year are two amazing Women, who are making some of the most exciting music in pop right now!"

Katy Perry and Lady GaGa are both nominated for five awards and will battle it out with each other in the Best Female, Best Pop and Best Song categories.
