The Ukraine entry in this year's (05) Eurovision Song Contest is being rewritten after competition bosses ruled the host nation's track "too political".
Group GREENJOLLY have until Monday (10MAR05) to hand in new lyrics for the song RAZOM NAS BAGATO! (TOGETHER WE ARE MANY!).
The song was the unofficial theme to the mass protests in late 2004, which ended with VICTOR YUSHCHENKO being voted Ukranian President in a re-run of a disputed election.
Organisers will rule if the changed version is acceptable to air at the Eurovision Song Contest when it's held in the Ukraine capital, Kiev, in May (05). If not, a new song will need to be submitted by 21 March (05).09/03/2005 17:51
