Actress/model Estella Warren will not face charges for escaping from police custody following her arrest last week (23May11) - because cops had yet to book her into the system when she fled the station.
The Planet of the Apes star was detained in Los Angeles late on Monday night (23May11) after reportedly slamming her Toyota Prius into three parked cars and allegedly driving away. She was held on suspicion of Dui, but allegedly resisted arrest and tried to kick one of the officers.
She was escorted to a local police station to be booked for the accusations, but managed to slip out of her handcuffs and run out of the building during proceedings.
Reports suggested she would face an extra charge for felony escape - but according to Tmz.com, Warren has one less legal woe to worry about as she made a run for it before she was technically charged with any crime.
However, Warren is still facing prosecution for counts of assault, hit and run and Dui.
