British funnyman Eric Idle loves living in Los Angeles because he can visit a therapist without becoming the butt of his friends' jokes.
The former MONTY PYTHON star admits therapy has helped him overcome a host of personal problems, and he would never have even considered signing up for sessions if he was still in Britain.
Idle says, "I had to do therapy... which is very helpful and healthy. In England they think you're mad if you do therapy.
"I think that you can be just as funny, only you're more comfortable with who you are and why you're being funny.
"I think you have to be screwed up to be funny. They're notnormal people."19/04/2005 02:41
