Eric Clapton is celebrating after scoring his personal best cricket score in a pro-celebrity charity game his team lost.

The rocker scored a rousing 13 runs in Sunday's (17AUG03) game in Surrey, England, but it wasn't enough to beat former ENGLAND captain ALEC STEWART's squad, which featured Bill Wyman and former THE STRANGLERS singer HUGH CORNWELL.

Clapton was joined by cricket aces VIV RICHARDS, JACK RUSSELL and MARK RAMPRAKASH.
