Emmy the Great's new single, 'Paper Forest (In the Afterglow of Rapture)' was released on September 19th and is the second single from her second album, 'Virtue'. Paper Forest follows on from the album's lead single 'Iris' and from her acclaimed debut album 'First L

The video for Paper Forest was directed by Lucy Needs. It sees Emmy with an older woman, who dances in the street and in a shop. The unlikely duo can also be seen in a room, with Emmy sitting on a bed singing, while the woman twirls happily about.
Emmy The Great started her career singing with the bands Noah and the Whale and Lightspeed Champion, the latter performing alongside Florence Welch, who would later achieve success as Florence and the Machine. Emmy's debut album, First Love, was released in 2009 and received positive reviews. Her second album, Virtue, was released in June 2011 and again received positive reviews; it also entered the UK Album Charts at number 84.
Ono is to receive a credit for co-writing 'Imagine', 46 years after it was released.
